My name is Monique, founder of Monique's Candles. Ever since I was a child I've had a passion for candles - the way they feel, their scent, the way they look, and how wonderful I feel when I look at them and burn them. Candles are an inexpensive way to treat yourself to an item of luxury. Whether it's a spa candle with aromatherapy qualities or a luxurious designer candle that just makes your dinner table look like something out of an interior designer magazine, candles have many wonderful qualities that add pleasure to your life.
 
As a child, I loved to collect novelty candles in the shape of dogs, frogs or castles. As I've matured, so have my tastes in candles. These days I am in search of high quality soy candles which offer the benefits of aromatherapy through naturally scented fragrance oils as well as deluxe, luxury candles which come in decorative and unique containers and boxes. I also seek out handcrafted works of art made with love and care by local artisans and feature their candles on my website.
